The name ‘Digital Wealth’ represents the knowledge that’s recorded today in digital format (not necessarily on this blog). The logo on the blog (shown below) is that of a block of solid 24ct Gold. I have been fascinated by Gold since childhood, because its a nobel metal (does not react/rust/spoil) and because of its use in the Gold leaf electroscope. Gold also represents the purest / the best – in addition to representing wealth. Hence its use here!

Some posts on this blog are tagged “Beta quality”. This means:
- I am inviting comments on that blog post, pointing out any suggestions/factual inaccuracies.
- The post might need improvements – in terms of simplification of language, more details etc. I will be returning to the blog post and carrying out these changes as soon as I have some time 🙂
- The post has some facts, and these need to be reviewed/verified to ensure correctness. Again, I would be coming back to the post after verifying.

Dear Hardeep,
Gur fateh!
I enjoyed reading your blog entry titled Digital Inheritance. I too often struggle and wonder if I will be able to pass the values I learned from my parents and grandparents to my 2 girls.
I live in the US and work as an IT professional. What about you, where do you live?
Chardhi Kalaa!

I have tried following your post on adding a logo to a WordPress header. I am missing something as I simply don’t know how to do this. What name should my image have?
I have found that teachers on the web assume novices know more than we do. This makes me want to jump from a tall building. 🙂
image.png? Is that a substitute name or the real thing? My image is in the proper folder but it is titled LogoColorTextBelow.jpg. Where should that name be, or should it change to a standard image name?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you
If you are using the code in the post, the name of the image should be logo.png. Since your image is a JPEG file, please rename it to logo.jpg and use the following code (instead of the same corresponding lines in the code given in the post):
$hsim = imagecreatefromjpeg(‘logo.jpg’);
imagecopy($im, $hsim, 70, 50, 0, 0, 100, 100);
Are you using the default theme? There are also many themes available that make changing the header image very simple.
